Arthur Griffith,

irl. Art Ó Gríofa (born March 31, 187 2 in Dublin, died. August 12, 1922) - Irish national leader and p olitician, chairman of the Executive Council, 1922. He was a co-f ounder and chairman of the organization of Sinn Féin, the moveme nt founded in 1905, which led the rebellion against Great Britain in 1919-1921. He was also among the founders of the insurgent Irish Parliament in 1919. In the same year he was vice-president of the newly established republic. Headed the Irish delegation negotiating the Treaty of London of 1921, which was established under the Irish Free State.
